There is a way that nature speaks, that land speaks. Most of the time we are simply not patient enough, quiet enough, to pay attention to the story.

- Linda Hogan

How do we listen deeply?

Nature and her beings all have a story to tell and lived experience to share. Listen with your heart and connect with the essence of life.

Tune into the unseen energies that live beyond your physical senses and enter the dance of life more fully.

Where to begin?

Immerse yourself in the sound of water, the rustle of leaves, the smell of the earth and you will hear the echo of your soul’s song.

When you engage in deep listening, you can hear the wisdom of your soul and the wisdom of the land.

Experience moments of wonder, inspiration, and synchronicity when you are in relationship with Nature.

The Listening Cycle

Immerse Yourself in Nature

Step outside and find a place in Nature where you feel safe and relaxed. Settle into your body. Breathe and absorb the feeling of Nature.

Pay Attention

Notice what is happening around you. Use your senses to engage with the life that surrounds you.

Listen without Thinking

Do not focus on any thoughts that arise. Let them go, like leaves floating down a stream. Listen from your heart. Listen from the depth of your being.

Attune to Your Feelings

Feel your emotions. You do not need to do anything with them; feel and allow them to be. When you connect with your feelings, you are more in tune with yourself and with Nature.

Reflect

What was your experience of deep listening? What did you feel and hear? Has anything changed for you because of your time listening to Nature?
